Take a look at what essential nutrients do for the body

B-Complexes:

  • Thiamine (B1): Helps body generate energy and is necessary for growth, development, and function of cells.

  • Riboflavin (B2): Needed to help breakdown carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Aides in the production of red blood cells so that oxygen can be used by the body. Also promotes healthy vision and skin.

  • Niacinamide (B3): Used by the body to turn food into energy. Helps keep the nervous and digestive systems healthy. Necessary for healthy skin and muscle tissue. Promotes mental alertness.

  • Dexpanthenol (B5): Aides in digestion, food metabolism, regulating nervous systems, and promotes healthy skin

  • Pyridoxine (B6): Important for normal brain development and keeping the nervous and immune systems healthy. Assists in the creation of serotonin.

  • Biotin (B7): Necessary for the formation of fatty acids and glucose, metabolism of amino acids and carbohydrates. Lack of this can cause issues with skin, hair, and the heart.

  • Folic Acid(B9): Important for red blood cell formation and healthy cell growth and function. Can activate sexual response and promotes healthy heart function.** Essential in early pregnancy to reduce the risk of birth defects of the brain and spine.

  • Cobalamin (B-12): Plays essential role red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, nerve function, and the production of DNA. Promotes weight loss and emotional stability. Deficiency can be related to dementia and low cognitive function.

Minerals:

  • Magnesium: Helps to improve sleep, reduce stress, supports muscle and nerve function and energy production. Also assists with the absorption of calcium and potassium.

  • Zinc: Enhances immune response and metabolism functions, supports healthy tissue growth and repair for wound healing, anti-inflammatory effects.

  • Manganese: Helps the body break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Plays a role in immune response, regulating glucose levels, clotting factors, and formation of connective tissue and bone.  Needed for normal growth and health.

  • Selenium: Supports cognition improvement, immune response, blood flow, and fertility. It plays a role in regulating thyroid hormone metabolism and DNA synthesis. Provides antioxidant properties that protect the body from oxidative damage and infection.

  • Cooper: Involved in energy production, iron metabolism, connective tissue synthesis, protects against cell damage, supports immunity, and promotes nerve and cognitive functions.

  • Calcium: Necessary for healthy bones and teeth, Vitamin D absorption, helps protect against cancer.

Amino Acids:

  • Arginine (Nitric Oxide): Helps the body build protein, improves blood flow to assist with heart function, improve erectile dysfunction, reduce high blood pressure, reduces angina pain.

  • Carnitine: Important for energy production, aides in weight loss, promotes fat metabolism, improves well-being, helps reduce insulin resistance, enhance cardiovascular health.

  • Lysine: Promotes collagen formation in tissues, reduces stress, treats cold sores.

  • Glycine: powerful antioxidant, collagen productions, improves sleep quality, reduces muscle loss, promotes heart and liver health.

  • Ornithine: Improves sleep quality, wound healing, stress, liver function, energy production.

  • Citrulline: Boosts nitric oxide production, helps improve blood flow, erectile dysfunction.

  • Proline: Boosts formation of collagen, wound healing, repairs damaged skin, regenerates cartilage.

  • Taurine: Ease anxiety, mood stabilizing, fights brain aging, supports metabolism and digestive processes, enhances memory function.

  • Glutamine: Supports immunity and muscle recovery

  • Methionine: An antioxidant and amino acid that is essential for energy production and muscle building.

  • Inositol: Helps with fat metabolism, nerve functioning.

  • Choline: Promotes liver health, fat metabolism, and breakdown of cholesterol to prevent attachment to blood vessels causing blockage.

  • Valine: Reduces fatigue, alleviates stress, promotes muscle recovery, and improves athletic performance and mental focus.

  • Isoleucine: Boosts energy, promotes protein metabolism for recovery and performance, improved glucose regulation, enhance immunity, enhance growth hormones.

  • Leucine: Essential in protein synthesis for muscle repair, helps weight loss, improve muscle mass, regulates glucose, promotes growth hormones.

Antioxidants:

  • Glutathione: Improves skin elasticity, anti-aging properties, regenerates cells, skin brightening, oxidative properties to improve immunity, liver detoxification, sperm production, improves insulin sensitivity, and weight loss, cancer protection.

  • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): Antioxidant properties to improve skin tone, formation of collagen, tissue repair, muscle and nerve function, immunity response, absorption of iron, wound healing, enhances protection against cancer, and more.

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid: Antioxidative properties, improves immunity, reduces nerve inflammation, promotes nerve and brain function health, lower heart disease risk factors, slows progression of memory loss.

  • NAD+: Slows cognitive decline, boots metabolism, increases energy, promotes brain health, fight fatigue, slows aging, reduces inflammation, regenerates cells (especially liver cells).
